Coin Stores in California

California is a live directory state with sourced shops. This is a shop directory, not a census: sixty listings from a shop site or a PCGS dealer page — not every counter in the state. The city switchboard only opens a city that already has a public shop. Unverified imports stay off public pages; there is no leftover California dump.

California sales tax

California tax note, not tax advice. Revenue and Taxation Code section 6355 exempts a bulk sale of monetized bullion, nonmonetized gold or silver bullion, and numismatic coins when the sale is the kind of securities-or-commodities transaction that section describes and the market value in that one sale meets the bulk threshold. CDTFA Regulation 1599 sets that threshold at $2,000 or more for sales on or after July 1, 2023. The department’s December 2024 tax information bulletin said that year’s inflation check did not raise the $2,000 figure. The statute still requires a yearly check, so confirm the dollar amount with the dealer or CDTFA before you treat a purchase as exempt. This page is not telling you what you owe.
